This amazing thespian dream of ‘a theatre in the rainforest’ was brought to life in the 90’s by Australian actress, Diane Cilento. “Karnak” comprises of an open air theatre (complete with covered stage and bar and function area) overlooking a scenic lake. Karnak was a fully licensed theatre and restaurant/bar. With relevant approvals still in place, this makes it easier for successful re-application.

Built in 1992, with open air, tiered seating it created the perfect experience for performances in the tropics.
